Tuesday we had a site visit at @countryjunctionclinton with owner Julie Hinds. The students enjoyed hearing about how Julie started this business more than 30 years ago. Additionally we discussed how systems & processes have changed in 30 years and how she has adapted. We discussed adapting to trends and how to serve your target market with different marketing strategies.

Julie shared tips on how to set prices as the students prepare to launch their own businesses. She also discussed how Covid has had a lasting impact on the industry impacting ordering merchandise and cash flow.

We really enjoyed learning about this business as the students have driven past it numerous times and many didn’t know what was inside. That’s what we love about CEO - discovering little gems and opportunities right here in our communities!
