One of the goals of the CEO program is to expose the students to opportunities located right in their backyard. Constellation, the Clinton Power Plant, is a company the students were aware of, but they did not fully understand what the plant did, career opportunities within the company and the impact this organization has on their community.
Ryan Tozer, Celia Melgoza, Ryan Jones and Crystal Brinkley represented Constellation in a panel discussion with the CEO students. They all have very different roles from accounting & business, operations and government policy. It was a very educational experience as we learned about nuclear power and how this impacts our daily lives.
One overarching theme that this panel shared was to never stop being a learner. Each of these individuals had very different paths to get to the position they hold today. Some went to college right after high school and others went straight into the workforce, however each of them have continued their education and still continue to seek opportunities to grow & learn. Such great advice!
